RICCARDO NAPOLEONE

RECEPTION MANAGER

“Every morning, I greet our guests at the Hotel de la Ville with my brightest ‘Good morning!’, in order that they feel at home even when on a work trip away.”

He first got to know the Monza Hotel de la Ville when he was still at the local A. Olivetti Catering College, thanks to a period of work experience as a waiter. Riccardo Napoleone has been a permanent and integral member of the hotel since 2003, covering various roles, from the dining room to the sales department, from the bookings office to the front desk. After gaining experience working at Claridge’s in London, he took on the role of Reception Manager in 2008, thanks to his genuine friendliness and kindly nature.

ANTONIO RENZULLI

HOTEL MAÎTRE

“When guests arrive at the Derby Grill, my job is to make them feel at home and provide them with an unforgettable experience.”

With exceptional attention to service and a passion for his work, Antonio Renzulli, having finished his studies at the Vieste catering college, gained professional experience working in Italy, Ireland, Austria and Switzerland in leading luxury hotels. He started as very young man at the Hotel de la Ville; first as Second Maître and then, from 2006, as First Maître. His strength of personality sets him above the rest for his natural kindness and his discreet yet constant attention to the needs of our guests.

 

ORIETTA RIVA

SALES MANAGER

After finishing her studies at the A. Vespucci Catering College in Milan and working for two years in Germany and England, Orietta Riva began her hotel career in 1987 with the Inter/Atahotels group, mainly working as part of the reception. She began at the Hotel de la Ville in Monza in 2006 and, since then, she has been responsible for the perfection of every event and work meeting. Her clients know her for her courtesy, sunny disposition and practicality.

 

DEA MUSSI

HEAD MAID

After a brief experience in a pastry shop, Dea Mussi began as a room maid at the Hotel de la Ville in Monza in 1988. She was fortunate enough to work with Signora Luisella, the wife of Bartolomeo Nardi, founding owner of the hotel, who passed on not only her working methods, but also her passion. Her gentle character and ready smile led quickly to her becoming department manager, a role she covers still today with the same enthusiasm.

 

FABIO SILVA

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Fabio Silva has been Executive Chef of the Derby Grill and of the Hotel de la Ville since 2011. Born in 1978 in Naples, he studied at the Cavalcanti Catering College and began his career working in all areas of the kitchen, from garde-manger to first and main courses, as far as becoming a pastry chef, which is still something he loves to do. Very aware of the evolution of culinary trends and constantly concerned with staying ahead professionally, Fabio Silva studies and creates our menus with unique sensitivity and care. Regional character and respect for the local area, enthusiasm and the finest organisation: these are the guidelines in our kitchen, creating dishes that have even won the approval of experts from the most prestigious food guides.

BARTOLOMEO NARDI

BARTENDER

Bartolomeo Nardi travels all over Italy and around the world to learn more about his passion. He gleaned the secrets of the best spirits in Mexico. Once back in Italy, he made further progress through his bartender training at the Park Hyatt in Milan; but it was in 2008 that things really took off, with the BAR Certification Program on distilled spirits and mixology at the Astor Center Study & Kitchen in New York, followed by experience working as an assistant at the Aka Wine Geek events.

 

OTTAVIANO SILIBERTI

RESERVATION MANAGER

Having studied at the Carlo Porta Technical and Catering College in Milan, Ottaviano Siliberti began his working career covering roles mainly at the front desk and as reception manager in numerous 4 and 5 star establishments in the city. Since 2007, he has been reservation manager at the Hotel de la Ville in Monza, a role which allows him to demonstrate his extraordinary organisational skills.

 

ROBERTO BRIOSCHI

RESTAURANT MANAGER

Roberto Brioschi, Restaurant Manager, has been supervising with great responsibility and innate savoir-faire the ‘daily life’ of the Derby Grill restaurant for the past thirty years. He was born in Monza in 1962 and studied at the A. Vespucci Catering College in Milan, starting his career here at the Hotel de la Ville immediately afterwards, in 1979. He gained further experience elsewhere in Italy, and also in Switzerland, England and Germany, where he perfected his skills in service and foreign languages. In 1990, he came back to the Hotel de la Ville permanently, taking on the role of First Maître, and later Restaurant Manager in 2000. His signature qualities? Friendliness, innate kindness and the greatest care to anticipate and satisfy the expectations and desires of our guests.

 

FRANCESCO NARDI

MARKETING EXECUTIVE

He represents the fourth Nardi generation at the helm of the Hotel de la Ville in Monza. Son of Luigi and grandson of Arcangelo, Francesco graduated in 2014 from the Glion Institute of Higher Education and from the Les Roches-Gruyère University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. During his academic career, he had the opportunity to work in the most prestigious hotels, such as the Hilton Park Lane and the Rocco Forte Brown’s Hotel in London. He decided to come back to the Hotel de la Ville in Monza straight after his degree, taking on the responsibility for marketing and implementing modern communication strategies and policies.His main personality traits? Determination, humility, youthfulness and a genuine smile.
